Could You Use Motivation to Exercise? The 4-Week Challenge

I'm moving into Health & Wellness Coaching with a special focus on women 50 and above — helping them feel, function, and live better. And one of the most common areas where people need support is exercise.

Why Exercise Matters

Regular exercise has the following benefits:

  • Weight loss
  • Improves physical health
  • Improves mood
  • Gives an energy boost
  • Promotes better sleep
  • Improves overall quality of life

Why Hydration Matters Too

More than half the adults in the U.S. don't drink enough water — usually saying they're too busy or just don't think to do it. This can lead to headaches, fatigue, weight gain, brain fog, and anxiety. Most people don't realize how much better they'd feel just by drinking more water consistently.

Start Where You Are

Whether you aren't exercising at all and want to start, or you're not exercising enough and want to do better — this is a no-blame, no-shame approach. Just start where you are and work on getting better.

The key is to keep things simple. Start with 10–15 minutes of walking. Drink a glass of water when you wake up. Build from there. Small, consistent actions are the foundation of lasting change. Contact Dr. Melissa Rich for guidance, support, and personalized suggestions to make exercise and healthy habits easier and more sustainable.
